PORTAGE, MI-A sprawling corporate office complex about halfway between Detroit and Chicago is now on the market. The pharmaceutical giant in a reorganization move recently vacated the former Pfizer office facility. Pfizer has retained CB Richard Ellis/Martin to market the 365,000-sf class A complex. An asking price has not been listed.

The three-story complex was constructed in 1987 and offers amenities including a 360-seat auditorium and two 60-seat training rooms. It is on a 42-acre site at the corner of Portage and Romence roads, near Interstate 94.

Jeff Cutler and Matt Steigenga are the lead representatives on the property for CBRE/Martin, which has offices in Lansing and Grand Rapids. "Located mid-way between Detroit and Chicago, we feel the site is simply ideal for a company, or one of its divisions, looking for a strong Midwestern presence," Cutler says. The complex can be expanded up to 450,000 sf of light manufacturing, distribution and/orwarehouse space."
