American Imaging, EOP Strike Second Deal

WESTCHESTER, IL-The radiology firm follows up on its headquarters relocation to 540 Lake Cook Rd. with a 22,459-sf lease at Two Westbrook Corporate Center. A third deal could involve American Imaging Management taking space at 1700 Higgins Centre in Des Plaines or Presidents Plaza along the Kennedy Expressway.

WESTCHESTER, IL-After signing a lease with Equity Office Properties Trust for 22,459 sf at Two Westbrook Corporate Center, American Imaging Management is scouting the O’Hare submarket for its third suburban location. The radiology firm moved its headquarters earlier this year to 540 Lake Cook Rd. in Deerfield, also owned by the largest US office REIT.

Best bets for the third location are 1700 Higgins Centre in Des Plaines and the two-building, 816,000-sf Presidents Plaza along the Kennedy Expressway. “Because EOP owns both buildings that AIM is currently a tenant in, I think EOP will have the upper hand in O’Hare,” says Steinco Corporate Real Estate Advisors managing principal David O. Stein, who represented AIM.
