BOLINGBROOK, IL-New Jersey-based BlackRock Realty has been involved in $29 million worth of warehouse deals, buying in Will County while selling in DuPage County. The single purchase was a 288,000-sf bulk warehouse in Crossroads Business Park, acquired for $14 million from First Industrial Realty Trust.

Offsetting the purchase of the building on 13.1 acres at 335 Crossroads Pkwy., BlackRock Realty sold another 201,000 sf of warehouse space in Elmhurst and Glendale Heights to Morgan Stanley Real Estate. The trades include a 125,865-sf multi-tenant bulk warehouse at 847-853 Church Ct. in Elmhurst as well as a 75,210-sf multi-tenant warehouse at 175-199 Internationale Blvd. in Glendale Heights' Glen Pointe Business Park.

Trammell Crow Co. senior vice president Ken Szady and associate Boris Shraybman represented BlackRock Realty, which has holdings across four sectors, in the most recent deals. With industrial properties, BlackRock Realty has targeted bulk warehouses in major distribution markets.
