Beneke will manage the day-to-day operations of the St. Paul office, says Bruce Engelsma, Kraus-Anderson's chief executive officer, who calls Beneke a "proven leader."Beneke has a Bachelor of Science degree in construction technology from the University of Wisconsin in Menomonie, and is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.

Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson, one of the largest commercial general contractors and construction managers in the Midwest, opened its office in St. Paul in 1949. Kraus-Anderson has operations throughout Minnesota as well as regional offices in Madison, WI; Kansas City, KS; Naples, FL; and Phoenix.
