CHICAGO-The 600 West office and retail redevelopment has kept a 35,000-sf tenant while adding three more totaling 50,000 sf. Among the deals were a lease extension that included an expansion to 35,000 sf for InnerWorkings, which also moved to the top floor of the eight-story landmark building at 600 W. Chicago Ave.
Proactive Inc. and Revolution signed a new 20,000-sf deal that will allow the communications and events firm and sports marketing agency to relocate from another River North building. Jump Trading also will relocate from 650 W. Lake St. to 15,000 sf on the eighth floor. And Think or Swim signed a 15,000-sf deal, relocating from the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Trammel Crow Co. vice president Peter Beatrice represented Proactive while CB Richard Ellis' Matt Carolan and Bill Rogers represented Jump Trading. Jones Lang LaSalle leasing director Brad Despot represented Taconic Investment Partners & Angelo Gordon & Co., which has redeveloped the former Montgomery Ward's catalog headquarters into a 1.5-million-sf office building.
