COLUMBUS, OH-Some Limited Brands chains posted year-on-year same-store sales gains and others had losses during the company’s Q2, leading to flat overall results. Net sales, meanwhile, were up 4%, at $2.3 billion for the quarter, which ended July 30. Net income fell to $113.1 million from $148 million during last year’s Q2.

Bath & Body Works, which operates 1,569 units, had the strongest results, posting a 9% same-store sales gain. Limited’s 993 Victoria’s Secret units also had favorable results, gaining 8%.

Meanwhile, the company’s 801 Express stores reported a 12% same-store sales drop.Limited’s 1,117 flagship stores fell 2%.
