44,000-SF Business Park Area Retail Center Kicks Off

SILVER SPRING, MD- Grosvenor has begun development of WesTech Village Corner at the intersection of Rte. 29 and Tech Rd. The 44,000-sf restaurant and retail center complements the neighboring 500,000-sf WesTech Business Park.

Christian Chambers, director of development in Grosvenor’s Washington, DC office, says the center will fill an unmet need. “WesTech Business Park, which we have owned since 1998, has over half a million square feet of office space but no restaurants. The project, which will cost an estimated $16 million to complete, will feature five pad sites to be occupied by Chevy Chase Bank, TGI Friday’s and three other restaurants, as well as two inline buildings, where Z Pizza will occupy space.
