The new owner plans to house Mitrowski Welding Equipment Ltd. in the 2409 Albright Dr. building, says Justin Tunnel from National Realty Group Inc. in Houston. The building will be used to sell and store large pieces of welding equipment.
"The property was a couple of years on the market," Tunnel tells GlobeSt.com. "We'd initially made an offer about a year ago and they finally came back and said they'd take it." Will Swanson and John Ferruzzo with NAI Houston represented the local sellers, Glen Graef and Lynette Palmer.
Tunnel adds that, though Mitrowski had investigated other alternatives during the wait, "we couldn't find anything else to meet our needs. That property worked, others didn't." He points out the building, developed in 1980, was functional and ready for immediate move-in.
Tunnel says Mitroski is seeking additional property, with an eye toward possible consolidation of operations. "If I find it and it meets his needs, he'll buy it," he says.
