The property is an R&D building located at 6500 Kaiser Drive. The property was vacated by a single tenant in the fourth quarter of last year, according to a prepared statement by Bedford chief executive Peter Bedford. The transaction resulted in a GAAP gain on sale of approximately $2.7 million.

Bedford EVP Stehpen Silla could not be reached for comment on the buyer, among other things. Bedford owns about 7.2 million sf in 87 properties. It also owns 11 development parcels totaling approximately 40 acres.
