Home Decor Wholesaler Lays Down $2M for BTS

ANTHEM,AZ-DonMar Furnishings enters the northwest Valley with the purchase of a just-completed, 16,324-sf showroom/warehouse building. The class A build-to-suit, which rose for House of Furniture, sells for $2.02 million or $205,000 below the ask.

ANTHEM, AZ-Phoenix-based DonMar Furnishings Inc., an interior design and furniture wholesale company, has purchased a 16,324-sf showroom/warehouse building for $2.02 million. The structure, listed for $2.25 million, represents DonMar’s first foray into the northwest Valley.

Located at 42205 N. Vision Way, the class A structure, completed in late spring, was developed as a build-to-suit for House of Furniture Inc., a Phoenix-based furniture manufacturer and supplier. However, “the gentleman who owned it had heart problems, and couldn’t take possession of the property,” says Greg White, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis Inc.’s Phoenix office, who represented the sellers, Gary and Theresa Fetters of Phoenix. Rich Mineweaser of Diamond Pacific Reality’s office in Phoenix negotiated on the buyer’s behalf.
