Chris Havens, director of leasing for Two Trees Management, which owns 13 buildings and the second largest portfolio of commercial space on the Brooklyn waterfront of Dumbo, says this niche is "sure to thrive in this vibrant community." All of the architecture/contracting companies chose 45 Main due to its seven-foot windows and other amenities. Havens and colleagues Louise Ehrmann and Caroline Thebaud represented Two Trees.

Delson or Sherman Architects PC will continue to work on residential and commercial projects across the country from its 1,500-sf offices and three-year lease. Ellen Honigstock Architect PC is a full-service architectural and interior design company that focuses on both residential and commercial projects. The firm will occupy approximately 1,100 sf of office space under a five-year lease. The third company in this trend, Bel-Tech Builders, is a ground-up and interior renovation contracting group. The firm has signed a lease for five years for 1,300 sf of office space.

Ehrmann says the law office of Gary Tsirelman is joining other law firms that have "discovered Dumbo's proximity to the courts, excellent transportation and our 'state-of-the-art' hi-tech offices." The firm, which specializes in legal services for medical professionals as well as medical malpractice, small business law, health law, insurance law, immigration and other general civil litigation, inked a two-year deal for 3,291 sf of space on the sixth floor. The offices feature 13-ft ceilings and seven-ft windows.
