After extensive renovations, including the addition of a doctor's office, hair and nail salon, fitness center, family room and other amenities, approximately 250 employees were relocated to the new facility. Valassis global headquarters, located on Victor Parkway, and its Anderson Printing Division on Schoolcraft Road combined with the new Customer Operations building, place Valassis among Livonia's largest employers with more than 900 employees.
Alan Schultz, the company's chairman, president and CEO, says the company reached revenues of $1 billion last year, an amount that had never before been reached by the company. Schultz referenced Valassis' dedication to the new facility, recent increases in employee vacation time and the introduction of a new 401(k) match as proof of the company's commitment to its employees.
