Milgard, which is relocating from 860 W. Carver Rd., will use the temporary location for both manufacturing and distribution of windows. "This was a short-term solution to their real estate space needs while the current facility is being constructed," says Jeff Conrad, a principal with Lee & Associates Arizona in Phoenix, who represented the tenant in the deal. Bruce Calfee with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial LLC's Phoenix office negotiated on behalf of the local building owner, Johnson Grove Partnership.
Conrad tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant is handling renovation costs, including additional power, office space finish-out, painting and fencing a storage yard. "The center was in close proximity to their existing location and it best met their needs," he adds.
