Academy Opens $7M Field House

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI-A Catholic college prep school here is opening a new, $7 million field house. The 31,000-sf field house will sit on the Academy's 44-acre campus, and will officially open Sept. 17.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI-The Academy of the Sacred Heart has completed a $7 million, 31,000-sf field house on the Academy’s 44-acre campus in Bloomfield Hills. The new fields and field house are home to tennis, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, lacrosse, equestrian, skiing and skating. The field house also has a cyber-cafe, aerobics room and cardio-vascular facility where students learn and reinforce healthy living habits.

Two specially designed classrooms in the new field house will also house The After School Learning Center—an educational partnership program between the Pontiac Public Schools, the Pontiac Lighthouse and the Academy of the Sacred Heart.
