The New York Power Panel will gather together some of the city's top business and industry executives. Bruce Wasserstein, Peter Malkin, Mort Zuckerman, Bill Rudin and Peter Kalikow will engage in a discussion on everything that New York is. They will explore such topics as current and future global trends likely to affect New York's economy and real estate sector, business diversification, employment, competition and the political climate.

In the popular one-one-one interview segment Inside the Real Estate Mind, Douglas Durst will talk with Real Estate Media editor-in-chief Michael Desiato about his company's projects such as the 2.1-million-sf Bank of America development in the Bryant Park area and his commitment to green building practices. The interactive Town Hall segment, moderated by John Salustri, GlobeSt.com's national online editor, and REBNY president Steven Spinola, will feature panelists Michael Higgins, Kenneth Krasnow, Michael Laginestra, Peter Riguardi and Simon Ziff. They will discuss the current state of the market and touch on such topics as Midtown and Downtown rent imbalances, infrastructure and development in the outer boroughs.

Kelley says a new feature this year is Peer Group Networking roundtable discussions during lunch. A person interested in Midtown leasing would have the opportunity to sit down at a table with other people interested in the same topic and talk over lunch. The variety of topics will include the condo market, the future of the West Side, joint ventures and equity financing.

Concurrent sessions will tackle the investment sales market, debt capital, the Lower Manhattan outlook and the booming condo-conversion market, among others. In Who's Buying, Who's Selling & Why in Today's Record-Setting Investment Sales Market, moderator Woody Heller and panelists will take a look at who is buying here and why.

"We are very proud that RealShare New York has become a must-attend event, something not to be missed," adds Jonathan A. Schein, president & CEO of Real Estate Media. "If you are a player in New York City commercial real estate, or if you want to be one, RealShare New York is a place you have got to be."
