The lure of office assets here will be featured during a panel discussion with such industry heavy hitters as Woody Heller, Jonathan Mechanic, John Moody, David Steinwedell and Norman Sturner. Topics up for debate include pricing trends, REITs, foreign investment, and pension funds. They will give an insiders view on how a deal gets done.

Richard Kelley, director of the RealShare Conference Series, says a new feature this year is "Peer Group Networking" roundtable discussions during lunch. For example, a person interested in investments in the Bronx could break bread with other people interested in the same topic. Other topics will include the condo market, the future of the West Side, joint ventures and equity financing.

Jonathan A. Schein, president & CEO of Real Estate Media, will kick the day off with the return of the "New York Power Panel." Started last year, it brings together top real estate industry leaders Bruce Wasserstein, Peter Malkin, Mort Zuckerman, Bill Rudin and Peter Kalikow to talk about how what's happening globally affects the local market. In the free-flowing debate, topics can range from competition to politics.
