RealShare EXCLUSIVE: Key Players Debate Investment Sales, Condo Conversions

NEW YORK CITY-Topics at tomorrow’s RealShare New York event will run the gamut from the past, present and future of the city’s investment sale marketplace to the increasing amount of condo conversions taking place in the boroughs. Green building procedures, debt capital and leasing trends will also be on tap. More than 500 are expected to attend the event produced by Real Estate Media, parent company of Real Estate Forum , Real Estate New York and GlobeSt.com.

The lure of office assets here will be featured during a panel discussion with such industry heavy hitters as Woody Heller, Jonathan Mechanic, John Moody, David Steinwedell and Norman Sturner. Topics up for debate include pricing trends, REITs, foreign investment, and pension funds. They will give an insiders view on how a deal gets done.

Richard Kelley, director of the RealShare Conference Series, says a new feature this year is “Peer Group Networking” roundtable discussions during lunch. For example, a person interested in investments in the Bronx could break bread with other people interested in the same topic. Other topics will include the condo market, the future of the West Side, joint ventures and equity financing.
