County Breaks Ground on 24,000-SF Safety Center

SOUTH RIDING, VA-Ground has broken for the Dulles South Public Safety Center, a 24,000-sf Loudoun County facility that will bring together under one roof fire-rescue and law enforcement services. Development of the building, which has a construction price tag of $5.9 million, is being handled by Milestone Construction Services. Hughes Group Architects is on board as the project designer.

Located in the Route 28/Dulles South submarket, the Safety Center occupies a nearly five-acre parcel at the intersection of Loudoun County Pkwy. and Tall Cedars Rd. Officials expect to wrap up development of the center in July of next year.
