The movie firm will move from 11 Beach St., 99 Hudson St. and 161 Ave. of the Americas. They will maintain executive offices at the TriBeCa Film Center.
The company is taking possession of 20,000 sf that were originally the North American offices of Arcelor, which relocated to 350 Hudson Street, another Trinity Real Estate-owned property. The remaining 7,000 sf was previously leased to El Diario.
Thomas Lynch of Trinity Real Estate represented the ownership, while Brian Waterman and Lance Korman of Newmark represented Weinstein. Details of the transaction were not available, but space in the site is advertised in the mid-$30's per sf. Carl Weisbrod, president of Trinity Real Estate, says the Weinstein's commitment "further solidifies the Hudson Square neighborhood as a popular destination location for a wide variety of firms."
