SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI-High-end niche/specialty printer Quantum Graphics Inc. has signed a long-term lease on an additional 12,356 sf of industrial space in a recently completed structure, located in the Hayes Tech Industrial Subdivision. The transaction brings the company's total to 40,000 sf, an increase from its former 28,000 sf.

The lease had a quoted rate of $5.95 per sf triple net and according to Jack Williams, senior vice president of Colliers International Southfield office, the final deal "was pretty close to that asking price."

Williams and Colliers colleague Peter Kepic represented Detroit-based Rizzo Brothers Trenching, Inc., the landlord, in the transaction on the property, located at 49818 Oakland Dr. Quantum Graphics was self-represented. "They'd been next door in the same subdivision for awhile," Williams tells GlobeSt.com. "They're expanding, though, so they leased the extra space."

Williams adds that the Quantum Graphics lease brings the property, completed in 2005, up to 100% occupancy, with other tenants including the Cheerleading Training Center of Michigan, LLC and Cleveland-based Lesco Inc., a wholesale seller of fertilizer and grass seed.
