According to Joe Trinkle, Liberty's vice president and city manager, Choukourian's skills and personality were a good fit with the company's goals and objectives. "It's a difficult real estate market right now in southeast Michigan," Trinkle tells GlobeSt.com. Prior to joining Liberty, Choukourian was co-founder of Millenium Energy Technologies, LLC, where he provided energy-efficient capital equipment solutions to real estate clients. He also has served as vice president for Minasian Development Corp. in Novi, MI where he was a leasing agent and manager of the properties in the company's portfolio.

Trinkle notes that Choukourian's blend of entrepreneurial spirit and a "high degree of teamwork" has also been a plus for Liberty. In addition, "Paul has a good mix of integrity, personality and respect in the real estate market place, that's what he brings to the table," Trinkle says.
