Duke Partnership Breaks Ground on 301,200-SF Warehouse

ATLANTA-Duke Realty Corp. and locally based Hartsfield Warehouse are jointly developing a build-to-suit 301,200-sf warehouse at Duke’s Camp Creek Business Center. The 730,000-sf business center is about five miles west of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in southwest Atlanta.

Duke officials didn’t disclose the development cost of the project but area construction sources familiar with comparable jobs tell GlobeSt.com the estimated hard construction cost of the warehouse will be in the $40-per-sf to $50-per-sf range or an estimated total of $15 million. Hartsfield Warehouse expects to occupy the entire property when it is completed in February.
