SAN DIEGO-Bedrosians Tile & Stone of Fresno has signed a 10-year lease for a 99,944-sf warehouse. The lease agreement counts $7 million and adds to Bedrosians presence in the San Diego area.Bedrosians already occupied 15,000 sf in the area. This new agreement is a significant expansion for the firm, which is a ceramic tile and natural stone importer in the US. The company plans to use the facility as its distribution center in the San Diego area."San Diego with its continued boom in office and residential construction is a beneficial location for importers and manufacturers of construction and design materials," says Jeff Chiate, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield's Orange County office. The landlord at the new facility, which is located at 7130 Miramar Road, is Calwest Industrial Holdings. Chiate represented Bedrosians in the transaction. The firm recently made a major expansion in Orange County as well. As earlier reported on Globest.com, Bedrosians acquired a 375,000-sf building at 1515 Winston Road from the Sares-Regis Group for $24 million. Earlier this year Bedrosians vacated a 122,000-sf distribution center in Anaheim to relocate to the larger Winston Road facility. Chiate and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield's Irvine office represented Bedrosians in that deal. Brad Bierbaum of the Anaheim office of CB Richard Ellis represented Sares-Regis.
