Dellisart Lodging is a hotel owner, manager and developer that currently owns and manages two operating Staybridge Suites in the Chicago suburban market and is developing four additional properties aggregating 508 guest rooms and suites in five states. No information was available Wednesday on Bestride Holding Ltd., but the company developed and owns both of the hotels the JV initially will manage.

The two hotels Dellisart American Hotels & Resorts initially will manage are the 33-story, five-star Bestride Hotel in Changsha, the capital of Hunan, and the Gateway Club in the recently opened Gateway Plaza mixed-use development in Beijing.

The Hunan property is located at 386 Labors Road W. It overlooks the Xiang River and is connected to Baisha Well Park. The Beijing property is located on the "third ring" at 18 Xiaguangli, North Road in Lufthansa Business Circle, a major business district.

Bestride Holdings brings to the table its network in the hospitality industry, which includes both private Chinese hotel owners and government-owned properties. Dellisart brings 30 years of operating experience in the luxury, full-service segment and a proven track record in the extended-stay segment.

Dellisart founder Douglas Artusio could not be reached Wednesday afternoon for comment. In a prepared statement he says the partnership is intended to take advantage of the "ever-increasing demand from both business and leisure travelers for superior hospitality experiences (in China)."
