Headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, Embry-Riddle relocated from 1045 Gemini St. and Ellington Airport to 16441 Space Center Blvd., a four-building, 64,000-sf complex that is also home to several NASA contractors. The quoted rate for the building, constructed in the 1980s, is $14 per sf annually. "They basically came in around that, though the tenant got a little free rent as well," Mike Adams, a leasing manager with Houston-based PM Realty Group, tells GlobeSt.com. He adds the building is about 95% leased for owner, KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA.
Phillip Price of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Houston office represented the tenant, which offers a bachelor's degree in professional aeronautics and technical management; master's degree in technical management; and will soon add a master's degree in management with aviation/aerospace specializations.
