SYOSSET, NY-Nordstrom will anchor Taubman Center's Mall at Oyster Bay, which is planned for a 39-acre site here. The retailer will replace the previously announced Lord & Taylor and join Neiman Marcus as an anchor. The 860,000-sf mall is targeted to open in fall 2007, according to Taubman.

Erik Nordstrom, executive vice president of Full-Line Stores for Nordstrom, says the retailer wanted to expand its presence in the northeast and specifically on Long Island. Nordstrom has 154 US stores in 27 states.
