Pope & Land Building Reaches 87% Occupancy

KENNESAW, GA-Barrett Lakes Center, a three-building, 325,000-sf office complex owned by Atlanta developer Pope & Land Enterprises Inc. is at 87% occupancy today after the owner signed Amoena to a five-year, 18,000-sf lease.

Carter’s Dale Karrh, representing the owner, found the space for Amoena. The firm was formerly located in an 80,000-sf building in suburban Marietta. It’s parent firm, Coloplast Corp. sold the property to Sacramento, CA-based Panattoni Development Co. in December 2004. Karrh tells GlobeSt.com the Amoena lease—valied at $1.5 million–took 60 days to complete, from contract signing to closing. “The tenant evaluated the entire submarket before deciding on this property,” Karrh says.
