264-Unit Metro Apartment Building Gets Under Way

HYATTSVILLE, MD-Ground has broken on Mosaic at Metro, a 234-unit apartment complex at the Prince George’s Metro Plaza Station. Under development by Mid-City Financial Corp., the multifamily property will be just one facet of the mixed-use Belcrest Center project being developed by Taylor Development & Land Co.

Ultimately, the entire 22-acre endeavor will also feature 24,000 sf of office space, 100,000 sf of retail space and a 30,000-sf fitness facility, as per a Prince George’s County Planning Board document issued earlier this year. The project, as has been described by the City Council of Hyattsville, is the first development at a Metro station in Prince George’s County.
