Archstone Acquires Land for City Revitalization

SAN MARCOS, CA-Archstone Smith and its wholly owned Ameriton Properties Inc. acquire two parcels totaling approximately six acres near Cal State San Marcos for $4 million. The land will be developed as part of the 1,570-acre Heart of the City mixed-use project.

SAN MARCOS, CA-Archstone Smith of Englewood, CO and its wholly owned Ameriton Properties Inc. subsidiary have purchased two parcels of land to be developed as a part of San Marcos’ Heart of the City project. The corner lots, one of 4.83 acres and the other one acre, sold for a total of $4 million.The land, purchased from Twin Oaks Street Partnership, is located at South Twin Oaks Valley Road and Discovery Street, across from Cal State San Marcos.
