AURORA, IL-Liberty Property Trust has found two tenants for one of its newest assets in the market, a 607,752-sf warehouse at 901 Bilter Rd. Suncast Corp. and Kaplan Dearborn Logistics signed leases with the Malvern, PA-based REIT for the building, completed this year and known as Liberty Business Center.

Headquartered in nearby Batavia, Suncast Corp. leased 316,200 sf. Meanwhile, Kaplan Dearborn Logistics took 291,552 sf.

Mike Androwich of Lee and Associates represented Suncast Corp., which makes home and garden storage products. Kaplan Dearborn Logistics, the warehouse division of educational training material provider Kaplan Inc., was represented by Jim Estus and Jeff Samaras of Cushman & Wakefield. In both cases, NAI Hiffman executive vice president Daniel P. Leahy, SIOR and vice president Eric Tresslar handled negotiations for Liberty Property Trust, which owns seven industrial buildings totaling more than 2.1 million sf in Aurora and Batavia. That includes the 694,367-sf building at 1000 Bilter Rd. leased to LTD Commodities.
