Sean Ryan is associate editor of Real Estate New Jersey .SECAUCUS, NJ-Japanese shipping firm NYK Line has renewed and expanded its lease for its corporate headquarters here at 300 Lighting Way. The deal brings its space at the 310,000-sf facility to more than 115,000 sf.
The building is owned by Hartz Mountain Industries, which was represented in-house by Ernest Christoph, senior vice president of sales and leasing. Fred Brunswick, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, brokered the deal for NYK. He has represented the company for 15 years, stretching back to NYK’s initial lease for 42,000 sf at the site. Length and financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
