EAST BALTIMORE-Developer Edwin F. Hale Sr. of Hale Properties has decided to erect the Powerhouse Building at the multi-phase 18-acre waterfront Canton Crossing. The Powerhouse will be a class A 320,000-sf office building. The $100-million Canton Crossing mixed-use development is located at Baltimore’s new Eastern Gateway near I-895 and I-95. The site will ultimately contain 1.5 million sf of office, retail, residential and hotel space.

The Powerhouse Building will join Canton Crossing’s existing office facility, Canton Crossing Tower, a 17-story tower featuring 476,000 sf. The structure, which is scheduled to deliver in May 2006, is already 75% preleased.
