122 Acres on Redmond Ridge Tied Up

REDMOND, WA-A local group with plans to develop a retreat for kids fighting cancer tentatively agrees to acquire Quadrant Homes' "Panhandle property" on Redmond Ridge, its master planned community five miles east of the city.

REDMOND, WA-Quadrant Homes has tentatively agreed to sell a 122-acre piece of its master planned Redmond Ridge property. The would-be buyer is a local group that wants to turn the property into a retreat for kids fighting cancer.

The transaction is contingent upon the buyer receiving the necessary approvals for its project, a Quadrant source tells GlobeSt.com. There is no scheduled date for the transaction to close. The proposed purchase price has not yet been revealed.

The property is known as the “panhandle” of Redmond Ridge. It comprises the easternmost portion of the master planned community. The land was previously set aside for single-family residential development.
