The firm has added two partners and two associates in its London office. The group will work with the firm's real estate group here, which is headed by Jonathan L. Mechanic. The London team will be led by Nigel Heilpern and will include his former colleague from Nabarro Nathanson, Stephen John.

"So many of our clients are looking for substantive international real estate reach," explains Mechanic. Over the past 18 months, Fried Frank has expanded its European practices with the addition of more than 40 lawyers in the corporate, restructuring, tax, anti-trust, and litigation practices across London, Paris and Frankfurt.

Earlier this year, to formalize collaboration between its various practice groups, Fried, Frank formed a corporate real estate group here to serve both national and international clients. Partner Steven Scheinfeld heads up the effort.
