GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: Reckson Fills Up Some Manhattan Vacancies

NEW YORK CITY-Law firm Sidley Austin Brown & Wood inked a deal for 20,500 sf at Reckson Realty Corp.’s 810 Seventh Ave. Software concern Murex also signed on for approximately 20,500 sf. William Elder, senior vice president and co-director of Reckson’s New York City division, tells GlobeSt.com that the firm is setting up a “mini campus” at the site, while Murex, a division of a French firm, required additional space. Both occupy full floors.

The approximately 695,000-sf site is on 53rd Street near Seventh Avenue and Broadway. Major tenants include Fox Television, EMI Entertainment, Hearst Communications, Oppenheimer & Co. and USA Networks. Elder says that the space offers great views and a refurbished lobby with amenities including two banks.
