BENSENVILLE, IL-Two industrial properties in the shadows of O'Hare International Airport have changed hands, one of them for the second time this year. CenterPoint Properties Trust, which acquired a 59,648-sf manufacturing building at 759 Industrial Dr. here in June, has sold it to Quality Carbide for nearly $3.5 million.
Meanwhile, Des Plaines-based J. Emil Anderson sold its 81,674-sf warehouse at 2939-59 Hart Dr. in neighboring Franklin Park for $3.2 million to MRT Sureway Inc. J. Emil Anderson had owned the property for 12 years.
Oak Brook-based CenterPoint Properties Trust paid Parkview Metals less than $2.9 million for 759 Industrial Dr. earlier this year. Trammell Crow Co. senior vice president Chris Tecu represented the REIT in both deals. Most recently, Don Jaffe of Paine Wetzel handled negotiations for Quality Carbide.
NAI Hiffman executive vice president C.L. Botthof and vice president Steve Sullivan represented J. Emil Anderson in the sale of the Franklin Park property in negotiations with Harley Kahn of REA Commercial Real Estate.
