Users Grab 140,000 SF in O'Hare Area Industrial Buys

BENSENVILLE, IL-MRT Sureway, Inc. pays $42 per sf for 759 Industrial Dr., giving CenterPoint Properties Trust a gain of more than $500,000 in less than six months. Nearby, MRT Sureway, Inc. grabs 2939-59 Hart Dr. in Franklin Park for $39 per sf.

BENSENVILLE, IL-Two industrial properties in the shadows of O’Hare International Airport have changed hands, one of them for the second time this year. CenterPoint Properties Trust, which acquired a 59,648-sf manufacturing building at 759 Industrial Dr. here in June, has sold it to Quality Carbide for nearly $3.5 million.

Meanwhile, Des Plaines-based J. Emil Anderson sold its 81,674-sf warehouse at 2939-59 Hart Dr. in neighboring Franklin Park for $3.2 million to MRT Sureway Inc. J. Emil Anderson had owned the property for 12 years.
