GlobeSt.com UPDATE: Tennis Stars Detail Hotel Plans

DONNELLY, ID-Six months after announcing an agreement with Tamarack Resort here for a hotel development, Agassi Graf Development LLC of Las Vegas and Miami-based Bayview Financial LP say the project will include a "condotel" in the village and traditional condominiums on a mid-mountain site.

DONNELLY, ID-Tennis stars Andre Agassi and Steffanie Graf will develop a 225-unit condo-hotel and additional condominium residences at the Tamarack Resort here in partnership with and Miami-based Bayview Financial LP. The properties will be managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Opened in late 2004, Tamarack is the first major all-season resort to open in the US in the past two decades. It is located at the base of Tamarack Mountain, on the shore of Lake Cascade. The project by Las Vegas-based Agassi Graf Development was first reported on in August 2005, but few details were made available at that time.

The condotel will be located in the resort village and and another 35 private residences will be developed on a mid-mountain parcel, according to Agassi Graf Development LLC. Both properties are scheduled to break ground during the summer of 2006 with completion anticipated in 2008, in conjunction with the completion of Tamarack’s village. The development will begin taking reservations in early 2006 with sales expected in late summer 2006.
