JESSUP, MD-The Wheeler Cos. has acquired the 91,200-sf Baltimore Aircoil Co. R&D office building. Located at 7600 Dorsey Rd. on a 10.5-acre parcel just off I-95 in Suburban Baltimore, it is a newly completed facility.

Wheeler received an $8.4 million financing to close the deal. The firm relied on Commercial Mortgage Corp.'s Marvin Hill to orchestrate the financing, which was provided by GE Business Property Corp. in the form of a permanent fixed-rate loan.

The site, which was designed by Morgan Gick McBeath & Associates Inc., is being used by Baltimore Aircoil as its global headquarters and research laboratory. The property was developed by Baltimore Land Holdings LLC as a build-to-suit for Baltimore Aircoil at a cost of $9 million.
