Wyoming Hotel Trades $369,000 Per Key

JACKSON HOLE, WY-An investment group led by Lodging Capital Partners pays publicly held Vail Resorts Inc. $32.5 million for an 88-room here called the Snake River Lodge & Spa.

JACKSON HOLE, WY-Vail Resorts Inc. has agreed to sell an 88-room ski-in-ski-out hotel here for $369,300 per key. The publicly held ski resort operator fromVail, CO, will continue to manage the property under its current name, Snake River Lodge & Spa.

The buyer is an investment group led by Lodging Capital Partners, a private, Chicago-based hospitality investment firm. The transaction is expected to close in January. The management contract with Vail Resorts runs through 2021.

The Snake River Lodge & Spa is located at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Wyo. Vail Resorts purchased a 51% interest in the property in December 2000 and purchased the remaining interest in May 2005. The Snake River Lodge & Spa is located at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village.
