Opus Northwest Plans 1,800-Acre Mixed-Use Development

AURORA, CO-When completed, High Point will have more than 800 acres of commercial land with a total of 10.5 million sf of office, retail and other commercial space. The project will also include a resort-style, conference meeting hotel on a new golf course.

AURORA, CO-Opus Northwest is planning the first office project at High Point, an 1,800-acre, mixed-use, master-planned community near Denver International Airport. High Point is in both Aurora and Denver and is a subject of an inter-governmental agreement between the two cities. Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer are said to be using the project as a template for regional cooperation, rather than squabbling for tax dollars.

When completed, High Point will have more than 800 acres of commercial land with a total of 10.5 million sf of office, retail and other commercial space. The project will also include a resort-style, conference meeting hotel on a new golf course.

The Opus development, at Tower Road and High Point Parkway, is called High Point Plaza. It will consist of three, two-story multitenant office buildings with a total of 274,000 sf. Build-to-suits are available.
