CBRE Posts Record Year With Nearly 2M SF in Deals

DENVER-The South Denver office team of CB Richard Ellis books a record year in 2005. The company is anticipating that 2006 will be another strong year.

DENVER-The CB Richard Ellis South Denver office team completed 1.73 million sf of deals last year, setting a record. The company is anticipating that 2006 will be another strong market. Last year, the team of senior vice presidents Sergio Castaneda and John Marold, vice president Mitch Bradley, senior associate Cameron Brown and associate Brett Nathan, completed 215 deals. That includes 27 deals in December for a total of 257,911 sf.

“The Southeast Denver office market seemed to gain momentum at the end of the third quarter and sustained itself through the holidays,” the team notes in its most recent report. “We believe this momentum will continue into 2006. Class A leases rates should increase by 10% during 2006 with class B rates flat for the first half of the year and 5% increase by year’s end.”
