Two Local Players Take New Posts at Newmark, C&W

NEW YORK CITY-Four month after joining forces, Newmark Knight Frank names Richard Sexton director of global business development. Sexton played an integral role in forming the partnership. At C&W, Suzy Reingold takes over where Ken Krasnow left off.

NEW YORK CITY-Two new appointments are making global and local news. With the change of the calendar, Knight Frank partner Richard Sexton moved to a new position, director of global business development, at Newmark Knight Frank. London-based Knight Frank and locally based Newmark began talks about the partnership in September. Sexton played “an integral role in its formation,” which became effective Jan. 1, according to the partnership.

In his new role, Sexton serves as liaison between US-based companies and Knight Frank professionals. Sexton is also now “the primary contact within the partnership for international real estate services and will assist both European and Asian companies in managing their real estate needs as they relate to their global business objectives,” according to the partnership.

“Newmark Knight Frank will be a truly integrated global partnership with an exchange of best practices, global branding, co-investment in Asia-Pacific and the joint pursuit of new business,” Sexton explains in a statement. “The new partnership will provide a consistent, seamless service to our clients across five continents.”
