The rooms range in size from 580 sf to more than 3,500 sf for the presidential suite. The development is scheduled for completion in late 2008. In addition to the resort hotel, the Four Seasons will include 16 private residences and 19 fractional units sold at one-twelfth interests. The hotel also will include 11,000 sf of meeting space, as well as a grand ballroom, spa, restaurant and four retail boutiques.

Charles Ferraro, senior vice president for operations at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, notes that Vail is undergoing a $1 billion renewal process. The Four Seasons, he says, will be a "vital part," of the billion-dollar redevelopment.
