Development Alternatives Takes Vacated 95,000-SF Space

BETHESDA, MD-A void at the 200,000-sf Bethesda Place II has been filled with Development Alternatives Inc.’s commitment to take 95,000 sf of space that was recently vacated by National Energy & Gas Transmission, the former PG&E. The organization, a provider of social and economic development solutions for developing and transitioning countries, will relocate from its current corporate headquarters site five blocks away at 7250 Woodmont Ave.

JM Zell Partners Ltd. represented DAI. Additional terms of the lease agreement have not been disclosed, however, property owner Polinger Shannon & Luchs Co. markets space at the class A property for $36.50 per sf. Designed by the architectural firm of Kishimoto Gordon PC, Bethesda Place II was developed by Polinger Shannon nearly six years ago.
