Epok ultimately signed the lease with new owner Moore & Associates, which was represented internally by Vince Coviello in the Epok deal. Epok relied on the assistance of Cassidy & Pinkard's Michael McCarthy, Barbara McDuffie and James Cassidy to facilitate the transaction, the financial details of which have not been disclosed. However, space is the building is being marketed for about $28.50 per sf.
Developed in 1978, the 11-story building Epok will inhabit is part of three-building Bethesda Towers portfolio that commanded about $127.4 million when it sold. The US government is the lead tenant. Epok will relocate to the building from its smaller locale about a mile away at 7920 Norfolk Ave.
