CAPITAL HEIGHTS, MD-Rockville-based Washington Real Estate Investment Trust spends $23.1 million for Hampton Overlook and Hampton South, a five-building industrial portfolio. Altogether, the group encompasses 303,000 sf of warehouse space.

Located just off the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County, the Hampton portfolio resides within the Hampton Business Park. Hampton Overlook consists of three structures with 137,800 sf, while Hampton South features a 105,400-sf building and a new 62,900-sf building that is presently vacant.

Aside from the new structure at Hampton South, the entire portfolio has an average occupancy level of about 93%. Tenants at Hampton Overlook and Hampton South include Alside Supply Center, Royal Cup Coffee and the US government. According to WRIT officials, the portfolio has a low lease rollover for the next three years.
