ARLINGTON, VA-A new hotel will rise up at Courthouse Plaza, now that the Arlington County Board has signed off on the site plans for a new Marriott Residence Inn to be built at 1425 N. Adams St. Donohoe Development Co. is behind the project and has tentative plans to break ground on the 176-room extended-stay facility during the final quarter of 2006.

The architectural firm of Leo A. Daly is responsible for the design of the 10-story structure, which will encompass a total of 141,100 sf. A development cost has not been released. The new hotel will feature a 5,500-sf restaurant, as well as 4,000 sf of ground-level retail.
