Coover-Clark & Associates is the Architect of Record for the bank building. It also was hired to design three similar bank facilities. The firm's marching orders were to design efficient service areas that include loan servicing, records management, wire transfer banking and other specialized business areas.
"We are very proud of our new banking facility and appreciate the benefits of a well-designed and spacious building," says Alan Parker, president of the Arvada Guaranty Bank branch.
In addition to coordinating all of the municipal approvals needed for the new building, Coover-Clark worked closely with the client to coordinate the building's exterior finishes with the overall site development. "Blending our design objectives with the aesthetic requirements of Arvada Ridge required a lot of time and effort," says Dick Walter, executive vice president of Guaranty Bank.
Architect Carol Coover-Clark founded Coover-Clark in 1987. The firm has designed projects that cost as much as $300 million and is one of the largest woman-owned architectural firms in the US. In addition to office and retail projects, the firm has been involved with aviation, transit, military, higher education, government, and other projects.
