Immediately prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Bahn was the vice president of operations for the Denver Region of Chicago-based Equity Office Properties Trust. In that position, Bahn was responsible for the management of Equity Office's Denver Region portfolio, which ultimately encompassed approximately 12 million sf in Denver, Phoenix, Austin, New Orleans and Minneapolis.

In 1999, Bahn was a senior vice president/managing director with PM Realty Group, LP, where he was responsible for all property management and leasing activities for the company's Northwest US division, which consisted of more than 20 million sf of office and retail operations.

Before that, he spent 12 years with Beta West, Ltd. as senior vice president directing the company's property management activities nationally for a $2-billion portfolio of class A high-rise and suburban properties. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Bahn worked in the lodging services department as group manager for Copper Mountain, a ski resort in Summit County, CO, and ran the operations side of Vail Management Co.
